New addition supports patient communication and provider referrals for the Monrovia-based telehealth psychiatry practice
Mueller serves as an important point of contact for patients reaching out to D&Y's care team. In his role, he helps coordinate appointments, verify information, answer questions, and support scheduling and ongoing communication. He also assists with referrals from therapists, primary care physicians, and other healthcare providers.
The addition of a dedicated Administrative Coordinator supports D&Y's focus on making the process of seeking psychiatric care straightforward and organized from the first point of contact through ongoing care. For patients and referring providers, Mueller helps ensure that questions and administrative needs are addressed promptly so the clinical team can remain focused on patient care.

With patient consent, D&Y communicates directly with referring providers and coordinates care across treatment teams. The D&Y team also handles insurance verification and patient outreach as part of its referral process.
“A referral should be easy to make. The follow-up should be prompt,” said Mueller.
D&Y Integrated Psychiatry provides outpatient psychiatric care to adults across California via telehealth. The practice was founded by Denis Grigorov, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner whose background includes 10 years as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Air Force, emergency nursing in high-acuity hospital settings, and a 12-month psychiatric residency at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System.
